Dr Andrea De Angelis
Dr. Andrea De Angelis is a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist who trained at the Catholic University of Rome in 2011, and worked in different academic and clinical settings across Italy and the UK. He has experience in multiple psychiatric subspecialties.
Dr De Angelis holds a substantive consultant neuropsychiatrist position based at St George’s University Hospital, London, where he diagnoses and treats patients with neuropsychiatric conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings. He is trained in ADHD assessments and is actively involved in research projects and teaching. He is an excellent autonomous thinker who unifies a grounded scientific background with more holistic and novel approaches, with significant experience in medical cannabis.
Working at the interface between physical and mental health, Dr De Angelis has a deep understanding of how biological, social and psychological factors play a role in our health, and takes an integrated approach to patients’ care, focusing on all aspect of people’s health including medical and neurological symptoms, diet, sleep, pain and inflammation alongside psychological components in order to deliver individualised treatment plans.
