Dr Pratibha Nirodi
Dr Pratibha Nirodi is a highly-experienced Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in the diagnosis, ongoing management and care of older clients with both neurodegenerative and functional illness, and younger adults also with functional disorders.
Dr Nirodi has a wealth of experience as a substantive consultant, most recently having worked with Tees Esk Wear valley in liaison psychiatry. She has been a consultant in the NHS for over 20 years.
Dr Nirodi has a Medical Degree from Queens University Belfast, Diplomas in Geriatric Medicine and Mental Health, as well as being a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She has trained in biofeedback technique (using HeartMath tool) to help reduce stress and well as currently training in Rapid Transformational Therapy.
Dr Nirodi has extensive experience in providing diagnostic assessments and is a competent Medico-Legal Expert for a wide range of mental health issues in adults, including dementia care and functional illnesses in clients from age 16 upwards.
