Dr Abid Choudry
Dr Choudry is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist who trained at the University of Birmingham. Within the NHS he has gained extensive experience in a broad range of settings including community, inpatient adult psychiatry, early intervention, and rehabilitation settings.
Dr Choudry is committed to continuing his professional development and has a keen interest in research and has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals.
He is also passionate about teaching undergraduate medical students with several medical schools. He is also trained in assessments of Autism.
Dr Choudry works with a diverse range of social and cultural patient groups and believes in taking a holistic approach to achieving the best outcomes for his patients by implementing individual treatment plans that may include medication, referral for psychological therapy, and/or lifestyle advice.
